 At A Haven of Halos we provide medical-grade cranial prostheses designed to support patients experiencing medical hair loss. Because these are specialized prosthetic devices, our policies differ from standard retail:


​Custom Orders
Every cranial prosthesis is tailored to the individual patient's scalp measurements, cap requirements, and hair specifications. Because these units are custom-made, we cannot accept returns, cancellations, or exchanges once an order has been submitted to our laboratory.


​Health and Sanitation
To maintain the highest medical standards for our patients (many of whom are immunocompromised), we cannot accept returns on any prosthetic item. Once a prosthesis has left our facility or has been worn, it is considered a used medical item and cannot be resold.

Financing & Third-Party Payment
We are proud to offer "Buy Now, Pay Later" options through partners like []. Please be advised that these are independent loans. Once you have signed your financing agreement and the order is placed, you are responsible for the terms of that loan. A Haven Of Halos DOES NOT have the authority to cancel or alter your loan agreement with the lender.

​Our Commitment to You
While we do not offer refunds, your satisfaction is our priority. We provide a comprehensive consultation and fitting process to ensure your prosthesis meets your expectations. If you experience any issues with the fit or craftsmanship of your unit, please contact us within 3 business days of receipt so we can make the necessary adjustments.

Insurance Disclaimer/ Patient Responsibility
A Haven of Halos provides medical-grade cranial prostheses. While we assist patients by providing the necessary medical coding (HCPCS Code A9282) and invoices required for insurance submission, we do not guarantee reimbursement from any insurance carrier.
The contract for insurance coverage is strictly between the patient and their insurance provider. Acceptance of a "Buy Now, Pay Later" financing plan or out-of-pocket payment is a option at the time of order. A denial of a claim by your insurance company does not constitute grounds for a refund or cancellation of your order. Patients are encouraged to contact their provider prior to their consultation to verify "Cranial Prosthesis" benefits within their specific policy
